Takeover of Langsol GmbH by Lippert-Unipol GmbH

We are pleased to advise that with effect from November 1st 2005, Lippert-Unipol GmbH has taken over the competitor Langsol GmbH.

Following extensive talks on common perspectives, this acquisition offers a basis on which to meet the future demands of a rapidly changing polishing market.

The well established, first class UNIPOL® compounds will be complimented by the successful products from LANGSOL®, together with the LIPPERT-UNIPOL brushing and polishing tools offering a full product range. LIPPERT-UNIPOL is well-positioned to solve almost every task in the field of mechanical surface finishing. The team of application engineers with a laboratory in Haan and research and development department in Epfenbach, allows the Lippert-Unipol Group to offer a high level of innovation.

LIPPERT-UNIPOL now boasts eight sites worldwide, five in Europe, offering a global sales and marketing network supported by a competent team of application engineers.

The gradual integration of Langsol production will continue to strengthen the capabilities of the German production site in Haan.
